IVBRC Digital Literacy Program

Bridging the Digital Divide: Free Digital Literacy for All!

The digital disparity in Imperial County continues to impact access to essential technology and online resources, limiting opportunities for education, employment, and community engagement. Many residents lack the necessary tools and skills to fully participate in today’s digital world, creating barriers to success and growth.

The Imperial Valley Business Resource Center (IVBRC) is partnering with the Southern Border Broadband Consortium (SBBC) to help close the digital divide. Together, we are committed to offering workshops, basic lessons, and resources that will empower our community with essential digital skills. Our goal is to ensure Imperial County has access to the technology and tools needed to succeed in today’s tech-driven world.

On this Digital Literacy page, you will find a range of resources designed to help you develop essential digital skills. From introductory lessons on using technology to workshops on internet safety and online job searching, our page offers valuable tools and guidance. Whether you're looking to learn how to navigate online platforms or access basic resources to build your digital skills, you'll find simple, easy-to-follow tools to help you get started in today’s technology-driven world.

All of these resources are provided free of charge by IVBRC and our partners to support our community.
